Dreams Matter
There are certain moments in a creative career that feel like they’ve been quietly building for years.
In 2012, I was at Epcot in Florida for a glass signing during the Food & Wine Festival, when I noticed groups of women walking by, each one representing a different Disney Princess. I remember stopping for a moment and thinking how meaningful that was. The connection. The identity. The joy. And a thought came to me that stayed with me all these years…
What if a glass could feel like the princess? Not just feature her, but be her.
I knew that if I were ever going to design something like this, it had to stay true to my artistic point of view. It couldn’t just be a character on a surface. It needed to look like the princess, feel like her, so much so that even without seeing her face, you would know exactly who she was. Because each of these women is more than a story. She represents a journey.
Whether it’s love, independence, courage, or transformation, every princess carries something deeper, and that’s what I wanted to capture. Not just who she is, but how she feels. And more importantly, how you feel when you hold her.
Something elevated. Something emotional. Something that turns a glass into a work of art, and a reflection of the woman receiving it.
The artistry is unmistakably mine — bling, glitter, intricate flourishes, rich colour, and hand-painted detail — but infused with the magic of the Disney Princess world: castles, carriages, sea life, and dreamlike elements that bring each story to life. Every glass is hand-painted. Every detail intentional. And that is what sets this collection apart.
When you consider the depth of talent within The Walt Disney Company's creative world, being invited into that space is something I don’t take lightly. To me, this collection is a reminder of something I’ve always believed: Dreams matter, but it’s your talent that gives them a place to land. And the Disney Princesses remind us that it’s okay to be fearless with those dreams. To go after them. To become them.
