Cheers to a Spooky Margarita!!!

Who doesn’t love Halloween? It’s that time of year to enjoy the first nip in the air, an evening cocktail or two around the fire pit or fireplace, pumpkins, fall leaves…Halloween ushers us into Fall with fun.  I always try to find a signature cocktail for every season, and lo and behold, this one wins for Halloween, hands down! It’s not only delicious but will MAKE your party spooky! Who has ever heard of a black drink??? Well, now you can make one that is not only midnight black but easy and very drinkable. You will have so much fun drinking with your witches with this one! Of course, you MUST serve the drinks in our favourite Halloween glass: Lolita Superbling Sugar Skull Wine Glass!!!

Black Magic Margaritas

For some Spooktacular fun, it’s okay to use food coloring! drinks will MAKE your party and they are delicious, too!!

1/3 c. Black sanding sugar (what?  Google it, easy to find!)

2 c. ice

4 oz. silver tequilla

2 oz. triple sec

1/2 c. lime juice

red food coloring

Blue food coloring

green food coloring

lime slices, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

1. Rim two glasses with a lime slice and dip in the black sanding sugar.
2. Divide tequila, triple sec, and lime juice between two glasses and stir to combine. Add food colouring until desired black colour is achieved. 
3. Add ice and garnish with a slice of lime. Serve.
